Explanation:
Point C, on the centerline of the coupler bar, traces
a symmetrical curve that has a straight part. The coupler can make a full
rotation. Main application: as a (passive) kinematic guidance along a line,
instead of a rail or slot.
The model also shows, for the symmetry-position, the
instantaneous centre of rotation of the coupler plane and the inflection
circle, as used for graphical construction of the point C.
